Plot

Kirsten, the former Butter Queen of East Racine, is unceremoniously “downsized” from her lifelong career at the Better Butter Bureau. With nowhere to go, she heads to her small Midwestern hometown to stay with her mother, who has already set up a date with local bachelor, Karl.

Or is it a date? Karl believes it to be a business meeting. He has recently been demoted from his position as the Marketing Director at the National Dairy Shrine after creating a debacle at last year’s awards show. Karl needs Kirsten’s star power to draw attention to his next career move as director of a Butter Baking Show. With Kirsten as the star of the show, it’s sure to be “udder”-ly amazing.

The only problem is, Kirsten can’t cook. Or bake. At all. They enlist the help of the elusive Tilde to help them learn to make the best kringle in town. They plan to win a local baking competition, take over the kringle market, and launch the cooking show that could save their careers, their beloved family farms, and the entire dairy industry.
